We envision a campus that is spiritually flourishing, emotionally resilient, culturally rooted, and deeply restorative. By providing refuge, healing, and strength through Christ-centered support, we aim to empower you to thrive amidst life’s challenges. Our goal is to make care accessible to all, creating a community marked by hope, wholeness, and transformation.

The Flourish Center at ABC exists to provide holistic support–spiritual, emotional, relational, and psychological–to students and staff, integrating biblical wisdom with professional care.

Who, what, where, when, and why?

The Flourish Center is open to all ABC students, staff, faculty and immediate family members. This includes the College, the Academy, the Hospital, and the Business Institute.

Marriage, Family & Community Support

Relational coaching for couples and families. Facilitating reconciliation, family systems counseling, conflict resolution, and community-based restorative practices that reflect African communal values.

Individual Counseling

Short-term and long-term options for individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, etc. Both licensed therapist and pastoral counselors available.

Referral Network

For specialized care that goes beyond what we can offer on campus, we work with therapists and clinicians through referral. We currently partner with House of Therapy, located in area 47.

Pastoral Care & Spiritual Direction

Discernment-focused sessions for prayer, scripture reflection, and calling. Can Monthly sessions for spiritual formation and discernment.

Restorative Circles

Group spaces for healing, storytelling, and peer encouragement (e.g., grief, burnout, spiritual doubt, leadership fatigue.)

Leadership Formation & Coaching

Equip emerging leaders with spiritual formation, emotional intelligence, and practical leadership skills for church, campus, and community contexts.

Reporting Sexual Harassment through the Flourish Center

At the African Bible Colleges, we believe every person is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, safety, and respect. We are committed to cultivating a healing environment where students and staff can flourish emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. That includes taking seriously any form of harassment or misconduct. Thus, one of the important roles of the Flourish Center is to receive and respond to any violations.

What is sexual harassment?
Verbal conversation, remarks, jokes, or comments that are sexual or degrading
Physical contact or gestures that are inappropriate and/or unwanted
Stalking, coercion, or intimidation related to sex or gender
Sharing explicit content, in person or virtually
Pressuring someone into sexual activity
